Lauren Colenso is the definition of being able to tease out which factors work best for different training methods while keeping the highest scientific integrity.  She is a Research & Teaching Associate at the University of South Florida with a research focus on adaptations to resistance training in young women. Lauren’s educational background includes a MS in Exercise Science and a BA in Psychology/Sociology. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN).

Lauren has worked with hundreds of clients in person and online. She advocates implementing a truly evidence-based approach, blending recommendations from the literature with practical experience, and adjusting appropriately for the individual.

I felt so fortunate to sit down with both Lauren and Dr. Bagley and have them tell me everything they know about diet, training, science, and how to get the most out of your own training.
